Three weeks into the 2026 Major League Rugby season, it is Chicago Hounds and Anthem Rugby Carolina leading the way at the top of the standings.
The Chicago Hounds are 2-0 and perfect so far, collecting 10 points from their opening two matches. They began with an impressive 33-19 away win over Anthem Rugby Carolina before returning home to power past California Legion 48-24.
For Anthem Rugby Carolina, that early defeat did little to slow their momentum. They bounced back in style with a 34-25 victory over two-time champions Seattle Seawolves, after opening their campaign in late March with a 36-29 win against California Legion.
With Week 4 now on deck, both pace-setters will be looking to hold their positions as the competition begins to take shape.
