Ugandan clubs are set for a long-awaited return to the Enterprise Cup, marking their first appearance in close to 20 years. Fixtures released by the Kenya Rugby Union confirm that four Ugandan sides will face four Kenyan opponents in cross-border quarterfinal ties scheduled for 21 March 2026.

The Enterprise Cup, first contested in 1930, has a rich history of regional participation. Teams from Uganda and Tanzania have previously featured prominently, with the now-defunct Kampala RFC standing out as four-time champions after lifting the trophy in 1956, 1968, 1969, and 1970.

More recently, Ugandan powerhouses Heathens, Kobs, and Pirates took part during the 2000s, with Kobs notably reaching the quarterfinals in 2008.
