Strathmore Leos technical bench headed by Coach Willis Ojal has unveiled a complete and carefully balanced 23-man squad ahead of their first ESS showdown with Blak Blad at the Blad Bin set to kick off at 1:00 PM.
In the pack, the front-line responsibility falls to Peter Njogu, Mathew Arina, and Almasi Wachira, all trusted for their physicality and set-piece reliability. Eugene Odiya and Jaden Oyier add stability in the engine room, while Levy Masigah and Griffin David bring work rate and defensive coverage around the park. At the back of the scrum, Manasseh Okalo carries the team’s momentum duties into the clash.
The link roles will be handled by Luke Cheptile, tasked with managing tempo, and Garvin Mutara, whose game management and kicking options remain central to the Leos’ strategy.
Out wide, Victor Sanganyi provides finishing threat, while Lee Njorohio, David Kododa, and Russel Momanyi contribute creativity, communication, and defensive control across the midfield and backline channels. Sullivan Japaso anchors the last line as a reliable fullback.
Impact options come from Glenn Aguko, Benjamin Ndolo, Dennis Kisingu, Ted Kasera, and Keith Imani, each offering reinforcement across key departments as the match unfolds. Darryl Wendo, Salim Owino, and Paul Mokoro round off the squad with versatility and bench stability.
Coach Ojal will be supported by Team Manager Harold Tende and Physio Nahashon Owino as the Leos look to execute a complete performance
