Former Kenya cup outfit South Coast Pirates RFC have unveiled a balanced 23-man squad ahead of their highly anticipated championship round eight fixture against Zetech Oaks tomorrow in Nairobi.
Up front, Coach Tony Khadambi has opted for Abdhala Mohamed, Sospeter Rofino and Sadala Mohamed in the front row. The second row has a pairing of Alphonse Otieno and Adnan Juma, while the loose trio of James Ainea, Farid Musa and Bernatict Wesonga is expected to bring aggression at the breakdown.
In the halfbacks, Ali Rashid starts at scrum-half with Joseph Musyoki pulling the strings at fly-half.
The midfield duties have been assigned to Cedric Odhiambo and Charles Tendwa, while the back three of Kenneth Ommaset, Brian Maina and Robin Odrua provides pace and finishing power out wide.
On the bench, the Pirates have solid reinforcements. Tirop Silvester and Atich Philip bolster the front row options, with Paul Angura and Iddo Kuta covering the tight five. Anthony Morogo and Anthony Abonyo provide versatility in the forwards, while Brian Kimani and Abdhul Mwaleso add spark to the backline should the game open up.
