Mount Kenya University (MKU) Thika have confirmed their matchday squad ahead of their 2025/26 KRU Nationwide Central Region opener against Karatina University, set for Saturday at the Karatina Grounds from 3PM.
Head coach Patrick Kamau has opted for a strong squad as they look to start their campaign on a winning note.
The back row will be led by captain Tobby Emukule, who skippers the side from the blindside flank. He anchors a mobile pack that also includes Clay Mugodo and Appy Joseph, with Neville Wakhulwa and Mike Oseko locking the scrum.
In the front row, Wallace Kumutai, Andy Okumu, and Lewis Mureti will take charge of the early collisions and set-piece battles.
The half-back pairing of Terence Mweu and fly-half Jimmy Washiali will marshal play, supported by a dynamic backline featuring Julian Pule, Abel Mukaria, and speedsters Jimmy Mwangi and Wilson Omondi on the wings. Kevin Kinuthia starts at fullback to complete the starting XV.
