Menengai Oilers II have named a strong and competitive squad ahead of their ESS clash against Kabras Sugar Rugby, scheduled for Saturday, 10th January 2026, at Mamboleo Grounds, Kisumu, kick-off 2:00 PM.
Oilers’ second string continues to play a critical role in the club’s depth and development pipeline, and the selected Starting XV reflects a blend of emerging talent and experienced campaigners ready to rise to the occasion.
In the front row, Allan Ochieng, Emmanuel Mulindo, and Wyclef Ogutu provide the foundation, while skipper Charles Osgood (C) partners Eugene Etale in the second row to marshal the engine room. The back row trio of Calvin Mulewa, Nelson Makokha, and Erick Omanga is expected to bring energy, physicality, and breakdown presence.
At halfback, veteran Samson Onsomu (VC) teams up with Tony Oketch, steering a backline that includes Wilson Tonya, Brian Oyugi, Kevin Chebet, and Lucky Onyango, with Eric Ogutu trusted to cover the backfield.
