Day two of the 2025 Safari Sevens delivered another round of exciting matchups at the Nyayo National Stadium.
In the men’s category, Shujaa continued their impressive run with a 20–0 victory over the French Renegades, Kenya Morans were equally clinical, dispatching Zimbabwe 27–7 to underline their growing confidence in the tournament.
KCB also made their mark, seeing off Nyati 21–7 in a hard-fought encounter, while UK Select edged a high-scoring thriller against Walukuba 41–26. Reunion claimed a narrow 14–7 win over Apache, while Shogun powered past Uganda 35–14 to round off the men’s fixtures.
In the women’s competition, the Kenya Lionesses maintained their perfect record with a 17–5 win over Uganda. The Kenya Cubs were equally ruthless, blanking Mwamba Select 22–0 in a match that highlighted their defensive discipline. Costa Blanca Barbarians also continued to impress, beating Shogun 17–5 in another entertaining contest.
With the group stages wrapping up, all eyes now turn to the knockout rounds tomorrow.
