KCB Rugby Club have unveiled their ESS Starting XV ahead of their showdown with Kenya Harlequins II, a fixture that was slated to take place on 3rd January but both clubs mutually agreed to be played tomorrow.
Captain Oscar Simiyu leads the line from the front row, anchoring a pack that blends power, mobility and youthful energy. He is joined by Wilfred Waswa and former South Coast pirates forward Hafidh Muhamed, forming a front row tasked with giving KCB early dominance in the scrum.
In the second row, Clyde Kimaya and Emanuel Silungi provide height and physicality, while the back row of Elvis Olukusi, John Baxs and No.8 Bramwel Kilwake adds dynamism.
Scrum-half Kevin Ochieng and fly-half Steven Osumba link up as the half-back pairing, expected to dictate tempo and provide structure for the bankers. Out wide, KCB have gone for raw pace and finishing ability, with Floyd Wabwire, Ian Oduor, Eugene Omondi and Austine Sikutwa offering multiple strike options. At fullback, Malvin Mweresa completes the backline.
Head Coach’s selection also features a strong bench, with Mike Oduor, Nick Okullo, Collins Oduor, Zeddy Ikhokoro, Joseph Wanjala, Ishmael Gorio, Bob Muhati and Levy Amunga available to inject fresh energy when needed.
