The All Blacks Sevens and Black Ferns Sevens after a successful dominant weekend, have learned their pool opponents for the second stop of the HSBC SVNS Series, the 2025 Cape Town Sevens.
In the women’s competition, the Black Ferns Sevens headline Pool A. They will take on Fiji, the USA who stunned them on the opening day in Dubai and Great Britain.
Dubai 7s runners-up Australia lead Pool B and are grouped with Japan, who are coming off their first-ever podium finish, alongside Canada and France.
In the men’s competition, the All Blacks Sevens have been placed in Pool A. They will face tournament hosts South Africa, Dubai bronze-medallists Fiji and a revived Great Britain side.
Pool B brings together Dubai finalists Australia and fourth-place finishers France, while Spain and Argentina complete the group. Both teams will be pushing for stronger showings after finishing sixth and eighth respectively in the Dubai opener.
