With four rounds of the 2025 National Sevens complete, the action moves to Nairobi for the Kabeberi 7s next weekend (6–7 September) at the RFUEA Grounds, hosted by KRU championship side Mwamba RFC.
Organizers have confirmed the Division One pools, with heavyweight clashes already on the horizon.
Pool A features banking giants and title holders KCB Rugby alongside Nakuru RFC, university side Mean Machine who are making their second appearance in division one, and coastal outfit Mombasa RFC who are invited.
Defending champions KCB will be keen to stamp their authority, but Nakuru and Mean Machine are expected to provide stern tests.
Pool B is equally mouthwatering with Strathmore Leos, Kenya Harlequin, hosts Mwamba RFC, and Impala RFC all thrown together. Leos, fresh from their Embu 7s triumph, will be tested by experienced sides Mwamba and Quins in what promises to be a fiercely contested group.
In Pool C, university flair takes center stage as MMUST, Daystar Falcons, and Catholic Monks lock horns, joined by the Embu 7s division two winners Homeboyz RFC.
This group could produce surprise packages as student teams continue to grow in confidence on the circuit.
Pool D has Menengai Oilers, Kabras Sugar, Embu RFC, and Kisumu RFC battling it out. Oilers and Kabras are group favorites, but Embu and Kisumu will be determined to spoil the party.
With only two rounds left after Kabeberi, the chase for circuit glory intensifies.
